I have had the BEST day ever!
To start my day, I had breakfast and sang songs with WW2 veteran Paul Baytor. I then went to John Bead and worked with Thanh Tran to first design and then purchase the parts necessary for me to make the belt for my 1917 dress. By 11:30 I was at the home of Herb Pike, another amazing WW2 veteran. We went out for lunch and later, spent the afternoon sitting on a deck in his backyard catching up on each other’s news. It is always a happy time when we are together!
When I got home, my team (Franklin-editor, Doug-layout and design and Elizabeth-proofreader) worked with me via computer until 10pm to finally complete the book Legacy & Tradition. At some point tonight or early tomorrow morning, Doug will be sending the file to JB Printing where they are expecting the book’s arrival! Next step will be picking up the printer’s proof and driving it up north for Doug and I to pour over. Can’t wait!
This was one action packed day… fantastic!!!!!
